DIY Table Centre for you to make

You will need a goldfish bowl, these can be purchase easily from local stores i.e. Ikea, Au Naturelle or from pet stores, search around to find the cheapest.

The mirror base in the photo is from Ikea (approx £10) but Ikea does sell plain round mirrors in packs of four which are smaller and are much cheaper. Alternatively you could pop along to your local glass merchants who will cut you some mirrors to your required size.

You will need about 6 strands of Bear Grass or Steel Grass per bowl (available from your local florist quite cheaply) and a few flower heads, roses and gerbras are good for this design, you could pick up some inexpensive bunches from Tesco, Asda, M & S etc.

Wrap the grass around the inside of the bowl as per photo.

Add water, up to a third up the bowl.

Cut the heads off the flowers leaving about an inch of stem.

Place them in the water.

Pop the bowl on top of the mirror base, place a few tea lights around the Mirror.

Scatter a few petals around the base.

Hey presto a very quick stunning centrepiece.

DO NOT PUT CANDLES INTO A BOWL OF THIS DESIGN (goldfish bowl)AS IT MAY CRACK THE GLASS - AS AIR IS SUCKED IN TO FEED THE FLAME PRESSURE IS PUT ON THE SIDES OF THE BOWL.
